Lady Gaga inspires me. She’s the reason why I will never ever leave art behind, even when the world throws me to what seems to be a completely different path. It all began when my artwork was chosen to in a contest to be included in her limited edition deluxe packaging (US ONLY, and they only sold a few albums)… HAHA I have emails and a contract that prove it! It’s legit!!! That was the first time I actually felt like I was good at what I’m doing. That was the time I realized that art is my passion. That very same moment I was still fighting against my destiny, of course at that time I didn’t know that I was destined to be a development studies major. I tried so damn hard to shift out of that course, and I failed over and over again. So instead of fighting it, I embraced it. Only then did I realize that there exists a strong connection between my course, development studies, which I have learned to love; and my passion, photography.
All I can say now is…
Three years ago, all I ever dreamt of was to be in the journalism/photography/graphic design, career path. Today, I’m a major in Development Studies, and DAMN PROUD OF IT. I’m not just going to make the world a better place for everyone someday. I’m going make the world a better place for everyone, one shutter at a time.
It starts NOW.
